2011 Fully Funded Elite Showcase Team
We will be selecting Virginia's Top Players (2012/2013/2014 grad year). We will play in 6 Tournaments including WWBA East Cobb in Atlanta, GA and 5 other Top College Showcase Tournaments in the summer and 6-7 tournaments in the fall season.
All players fees will be paid by RBA WEST (tournaments, coaches fee and hotels). We will have 1-2 practices per week, along with our 2 facilities for our players to train. Recently we had over 20+ college scouts come to our practices alone. Donnie Phillips, with over 25 years of coaching experience in the Virginia area will be the head coach. Since June of 2011 we have had 7 -D1 college scholarships/commitments from this team. Please check the player accolades link for more info on our players playing at the next level.
The purpose of RBA West Showcase Teams (Elite, American and National) is to give top elite high school players the opportunity to play as a team, but at the same time showcase themselves individually in front of College and Pro Scouts. Our coaches' job is to get you seen! Our staff will email, call, and write letters to scouts of your choice to help out with the recruiting process. Our website will also have each players info along with a video of them playing for all scouts to see, if you use "Play in School." Our Coaching Staff includes Donnie Phillips, Andrew Slater, Ronnie Atkins, Jeff Zona, MLB Head Cross Checker-Washington Nationals, and Tim Bittner, Assoc. Scout-Washington Nationals. Director Chris Gerrity will also help coach along with other RBA WEST staff.
