Our Objectives Hitting: We focus on teaching the proper hitting fundamentals by emphasizing techniques that will produce more power in your child’s swing. We also focus on the need to hit to all fields, hitting off-speed pitches and most importantly understanding situational hitting.   Pitching: Pitching instruction focuses on learning and applying proper mechanics with the goal of improving velocity, control and movement.  Education on the need and methods of arm care and conditioning are also introduced and explained.   Students are taught the mental aspect of pitching including visualization and setting up hitters.  Proper development of off-speed pitches is also a major area of focus.   Fielding: Our fielding objectives center on improving proper footwork for every type of ground ball. Proper footwork is very important in the continuation of a successful career. The focus of our outfield instruction is learning the ability to catch properly as well as taking a quick and decisive first step. Another important aspect for all players is the ability to stay low and maintain carry on throws.   Catching: Catching objectives include teaching proper receiving and framing techniques. We also concentrate on blocking the ball and improving the release and throwing ability.
