Coach - Alexis Rapoport

Alexis Rapoport

• Born and raised in McLean, Virginia 
• Alexis played Little League softball at McLean Little League from ages 6-15. 
• She was selected to play for five all-star teams, including the 1st ever 9-10 softball team to represent McLean Little League. 
• While attending McLean High School, Alexis played both basketball and softball at the junior varsity and varsity levels. 
• Alexis earned all district first-team and all region honorable mention awards for softball during her Junior and Senior years.
• Alexis also played travel softball for the McLean Blaze (through 8th grade) and in high school for the Virginia Patriots.
• While her team was very successful on the field, including the 2002 NSA World Series, she says it's the friendships and memories that have stuck with her and inspired her to coach softball.
• She began coaching little league (minors) while still in high school and since moving to Richmond 3 years ago, Alexis has been coaching at Tuckahoe Little League at both the Majors and Seniors age levels.
• Although Alexis did not play softball in college, she has always had a passion to teach young girls the game of softball and the life lessons the game has to offer.
• Alexis will be the head coach of our 14U Travel Softball Team.
•  Alexis is also currently providing private lessons at our Rockville Facility.

Sara Lassiter

• Averett University from 2006-2010
• Started as a walk-on freshman.
• Sara was an infielder and outfielder
• Awarded on the USA South All- Conference Honorable Mention Team in 2007.
• Sara is currently providing Hitting/Infield/OF lessons at our Staples Mill facility.
