Travel Teams Purpose
Richmond Baseball Academy West Travel teams has become one of the best elite baseball programs in the Virginia area. Established in 1996 as an elite 18u organization, the program has blossomed into a true baseball school with competitive and developmental baseball teams for all ages and grade levels 9u-18u. We work hard to get your son to the next level in your baseball career through development, education, competition, exposure, and evaluation.
RBA WEST is a school providing special instruction for the advancement of baseball skills and knowledge. Our goal is to help talented student-athletes realize their full potential on and off the field, and give them the best opportunity to play at the next level and achieve their goals. Our alumni list continues to grow every year with players who have played at the college level with dozens more going on to professional ranks.
We are looking for players who have the same dreams and aspirations that our alumni had - players who want to be the best and play with and against the best. What we offer is a dedicated and professional coaching staff that provides top instruction and development as well as an education that stems from years of experiences and knowledge not only as players and coaches, but through experiences and relationships with college recruiters and professional scouts. Combined with our state-of-the-art facilities, RBA West is where your son needs to train and get the education he needs to move to the next level!
Travel Team Features
*Each team will receive 11 months of instruction and training from our professional staff
*Each team will have a Team Manager who has played and/or coached at the collegiate level
*Each team practices one night per week and either plays or practices during the weekend
*Each team will play in two tournaments per month in September, October, and November (weather permitting). The same is true for March through July.
*Each team participates in our ten week winter program, which includes two practices per week.
